Be Insured and Protect Your Items with Extended Insurance Coverage

Beacon Bright Movers is insured and bonded in all areas of British Columbia. While basic insurance is available — typically through your home insurance policy — we can offer extended coverage. Basic cargo insurance will be included in the quote we provide to you. This rate is based on the calculated weight of the items being covered, up to $1.32 per kilogram, regardless of the type of items. Since all claims are subject to a $250.00 deductible, you may want to waive the deductible by purchasing additional cargo insurance for just $25.00.

Some items that are not covered under insurance are items we didn’t pack, electronics, jewellery, items of extraordinary value, and antiques. Check with your home or tenant insurance provider to see if these types of items are covered under your policy.

If you have a claim, please be sure to contact us within 48 hours from the completion of your move. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us before your move date.
